Over the last few weeks Jocelyn and I have been struggling to get everything organized so that we could finally move out. We lived in an apartment for a few years and although I was making good money online, the apartment seemed to suffice for a while.
It Gets LonelyBut as time grew, I started to realize that I was feeling kind of lonely. When you work for yourself, and you have others around you going to their jobs, you start to feel left out. It’s not a bad thing, I love it, but living in such a small space and working there at the same time was a bit tough.
So, we moved to a city/town in North Carolina with less than 5,000 people in it.
That’s a big step since we pretty much lived in the 39th largest city in the United States (Virginia Beach).
The move is still going on right now as we are waiting for the previous residents (we are friends with them) to find a place in Virginia Beach, so at the moment I’ve moved everything into the garage and have 2 rooms setup for Jocelyn and I until then.
On the Streets in 2008 to Moving into a House in 2012!
But get this. The person who I’m renting from is actually someone that I stayed with when I was living on the streets back in 2008.
We didn’t want to go towards buying a house yet because our (Jocelyn and I) ultimate goal is to get an RV together and travel. But the house is huge and I’m so excited to finally get out of that old apartment, it’s such a change.
Watch the video below to see the new house
It’s furnished with there stuff right now and I forgot to show the garage, but that’s where all of our stuff currently is
Ahhhhh, I’m so stoked!
