[Case Study] Connecting with Fans

If you aren’t connecting with your fans then you’re doing something wrong.

You should be targeting a niche that you have some type of interest in, otherwise you’ll end up not connecting to your fans and  this will result in poor results.

Each and every one of us has something that we’re an expert in.

I’ve been playing video games since I was young, but you might have been gardening. You might be into playing basketball. Heck you might even find interest in obscure things. But the point is, there are other people out there with those same interests.

This is what you want to call “Your Niche”.

How To Connect With Your Fans

As you saw in the video above, I shared a picture from the VERY first Halo video game which was released back in the early 2000′s. Most people who haven’t played Halo won’t have a clue what it is. But since I have knowledge of the game, I knew what it was the second I saw it. So would my fans (and they did).

If you want to connect to your fans you need to share content (remember content is everything) that your fans will relate to.

Don’t have a clue what that would be? Then you’re probably in the wrong niche.

Quick Example of Connecting with Fans

Let’s say you have a page about “Pitbulls”.

At first you might want to make the page about how mean pitbulls are. But in reality, pitbull owners know that they are loving dogs and the only reason there is such a bad reputation with pitbulls is because some are treated so poorly, causing them to retaliate.

So why not create a page talking about how great pitbulls are and how loving they can be.

You could then lead that page into a niche like “dog training” or “pet supplies”.

Everyone Has a Niche You Just Need To..
